A Refined Piece of Metal Art
The keyboard case is made from strong and durable 6063 aluminum, precisely shaped through CNC machining for high-quality construction. It features a powder coating finish that surpasses traditional painting in resisting wear, tear, chipping, and scratching. This comprehensive manufacturing process results in a sturdy and visually appealing keyboard case, ideal for regular use.
Significantly Enhanced Acoustic Foams
Elevate the typing experience with a combination of premium acoustic foams such as IXPE, PET, and Latex. Each keystroke becomes enjoyable, making every tap a delight for the senses.
Easy Assemble
We designed every component to be able to assemble easily so you can customize and adjust each component with ease to create your ultimate typing experience.
Double Gasket Design
The Double Gasket Design is a new innovative structure in the industry. In addition to the gaskets on the plates, we added silicone pads between the top and bottom cases to significantly reduce the acoustic resonance between the metals and reduce the noise of the impacted metals. This design allows the keyboard to maintain the flexibility of the gasket structure and improves the overall typing sound.
An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard
A powerful ARM Cortex-M4 chip (MCU) equipped with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box on 2.4 GHz and wired modes (90 Hz on Bluetooth mode), which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.
Cherry Profile Dye-Sub PBT Keycaps
Q60 Max comes in Cherry Profile for a classic feel and features dye-sublimated technology that ensures the legends are beautifully printed on the keycaps, while the legends will not shine or wear out for decades. And it's fully compatible with MX mechanical switches.
Switch layouts between macOS & Windows
Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility with Windows devices, the Keychron Q60 Max comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
Program Q60 Max with QMK & VIA
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap each key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, and more.
Get the Q60 Max keymap working on VIA
Since the VIA code for the Q60 Max is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Please download the appropriate keymap JSON file below, open VIA, turn on "Show Design tab" on "Settings" tab, and drag the JSON file into the “Design” tab on VIA to get the Q60 Max keymap working on VIA.
Special Extra Keycaps
Q60 Max is equipped with special extra keycaps, two "System" Keycaps and two "Alt" Keycaps, for the Windows system to better satisfy your needs.
South-facing RGB LED Lights
The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the users install KSA or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.
Gateron Jupiter Switch
Our exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switch (for the Fully Assembled version only) comes with a 3-pin design, its pre-lubed with a reliable Gateron quality standard with up to 80 million keystrokes lifespan. While their unique LED diffuser design offers high RGB backlight transmittance and softer backlight effect.
The banana switch provides an early tactile bump at the top with a uniquely smooth experience like those Panda switches on the market.
All New Screw-in PCB Stabilizers
The screw-in design increases stability and makes it easier for changes and upgrades. Precise craftsmanship makes the stabilizers more stable and less shaky. The big keys’ (space bar, shift, enter, backspace) typing experience is now more stable and smooth. The Keychron Q60 Max also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.
Hot-Swappable
The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3 pin and 5 pin MX mechanical switches.
